Power Distribution
We provide electrical design of power distribution in commercial, residential, industrial and hospitality settings from the low voltage (LV) switchboard (ie.347Y/600V) to distribution power and lighting panels servicing the facility (ie.120Y/208V). Along with the design, a high-level comprehensive load study and a short circuit analysis is conducted. The electrical distribution will follow the latest electrical safety authority (ESA) and the Ontario building code (OBC).
Electrical Generation
In additional to the distribution, Preto Engineering provides Emergency Power Design, including but not limited to the sizing of the generator for the facility to the emergency power distribution, in accordance with local codes and standards.
Lighting
As part of the lighting design, our team provides photometric analysis for a wide range of indoor and outdoor settings. We assist our clients with fixture selection and controls that would best suit their application and location.
Fire Alarm
One of the integral Electrical Engineering elements in the Electrical Systems Design include the design of a fire alarm system for a building. Preto Engineering has had a wide range of experience in the design, from dealing with aging existing infrastructure to new builds.
